Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Workout Buddy. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable.

The service

Workout Buddy lets you build training programs with an AI coach and log your workouts. The free plan comes with monthly limits on AI use; the app shows how much you have left. We may change features and limits, and we'll keep the app running as well as we can, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Not medical advice

Programs, weights and tips from the AI coach are general suggestions, not medical or professional advice. The AI can make mistakes. You train at your own risk: check that weights and exercises suit you, warm up, use good technique and stop if something hurts. If you have an injury, a medical condition or are unsure, ask a doctor or physiotherapist first.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Your content

Programs, workouts and notes you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the app, for example to show them to you and to send them to the AI when you ask it something. If you share a program through a link, anyone with the link can view it and add a copy to their own account.

Fair use

Don't misuse the app: no attempts to get around the AI limits, break into accounts or systems, overload the service with automated requests, or share content that is illegal or hurtful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for injuries, damage or loss resulting from using the app or following its suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
